Are you an experienced, customer focused Test Tag Technician? We require a dedicated technician for all our test and tag and RCD Testing.

Permanent Part Time / Flexible Hours

$27.00 – $30.00 per hour + Super - Rate based on experience

Specialised Fire & Safety are based in Bundoora, Melbourne and service customers across Melbourne and throughout Victoria. We have a reputation for delivering services by qualified and highly skilled professionals. We are currently expanding and are looking for a suitable person to join our team.

About the role:

This role requires you to assist our clients maintain their workplace compliance - clients range from early childhood education, aged and disability care, Local and State Government departments and a range of other high-profile companies.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

·       Electrical Test and Tag & RCD Testing

·       Portable Fire Equipment Servicing

Qualifications required for this role include:

·       Electrical Safety Test & Tagging Certificate

·       Current Working with Children Card

·       National Police Clearance

Essential Skills for this role include:

Previous experience in compliance testing (test and tag) or similar technical role

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and efficiently

Excellent time management

Well presented, reliable with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Physically fit to undertake the work

Ability and willingness to learn and develop skills and continually improve

Further desirable skills include:

Knowledge of Seaward PAT testers and PAT Guard software

Previous fire equipment servicing experience, or a willingness to learn

The successful candidate will be supplied with:

Mobile phone allowance.

Uniforms and PPE.

All test equipment, tools and laptop.
