About the role

Right now we're on the lookout for a Ramp Hand to support our Operations Team. You will be a valued member of a diverse team where you will contribute to the achievement of production targets safely and efficiently.

Previous experience is not necessary; you will be provided with all the necessary training to succeed and perform your role safely.

Our Depot Operations in Kwinana's new facility utilize best-practice manufacturing processes to reduce manual handling. However, the role still involves some manual labor with machinery assistance, making it ideal for an active individual.

Please note, public transport options around the facility are limited, so the ability to travel to and from the location is an important consideration.

You will:

  • Prioritize safety in line with Supagas policies and procedures
  • Load and unloading gas cylinders of various weights from cages and vehicles, both manually and using lifting aids.
  • Prepare gas cylinders through machine washing, scraping, painting, stickering, and plugging.
  • Safely fill and decant LP Gas from cylinders.
  • Test cylinders against Australian Standards, deeming them safe for reuse or condemnable.
  • Daily stock reconciliation.

  • Basic written and numerical skills and together with basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • An improvement focus that you apply to learning new skills and solving problems.

  • You are safety-conscious.
  • Ability to work flexible hours. Our shifts timings are 6.00am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-11pm.
