About the Role

We're seeking an experienced SIT Tester to join a large-scale transformation program within the gaming industry. You'll be part of a newly formed testing team, supporting our client by delivering high-quality testing outcomes and ensuring seamless integration across complex systems.

This role is suited to someone with strong manual testing expertise, exposure to integration projects, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and execute detailed test cases and test plans in Zephyr, ensuring requirements are thoroughly validated.
  • Record, track, and communicate test results and defects, providing clear visibility to stakeholders.
  • Partner with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Perform system integration, regression, and functional testing to ensure stability and quality across applications.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior testers within the team.
  • Participate in sprint activities, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while also supporting release activities.
  • Use SQL to interrogate databases and verify data accuracy during testing.
  • Contribute to automation test suites and integrate them within TeamCity pipelines.
  • Support deployments by working with Octopus Deploy to validate components in test environments.

What we're looking for

  • Proven background in manual testing and system integration testing (SIT).
  • Experience working in Agile project environments, ideally on large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong SQL skills for test data preparation and validation.
  • Exposure to tools such as Zephyr, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry or other highly regulated sectors is an advantage.

Duration

  • Initial contract: 12 months, with a strong likelihood of extension depending on project milestones.

Location & Working Model

  • Brisbane-based role with a hybrid model – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
