As a Data and Analytics Engineer
You will deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions to achieve business outcomes focusing on delivering customer value and operational excellence.

  • Working with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements relating to data and analytics initiatives with a focus on delivering business outcomes
  • Designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining data models, reports, and dashboards that meet business needs and requirements
  • Designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining data pipelines across a range of technologies that extract, load, combine and transform data from a range of internal and external sources
  • Understand and implement data governance requirements that support data and analytics solutions including security, data quality, data classification, trustworthiness, and re-usability
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders through a range of forums including but not limited to team members within cross functional delivery teams, data and analytics practice group, and the data and analytics platform team

Essential
Technical Skills:

  • T-SQL, SQL Server, Databricks, PySpark, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data and dimensional modeling and other related data tools and platforms.
  • Exposure to Lambda and Kappa architecture stacks.
  • Hands-on experience building Data Streaming solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Confluent, and Apache Flink.
  • Building and optimizing data pipelines, data models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Working with a broad set of Azure services related to Data and Analytics, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Handling large and complex datasets.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.

Desirable

  • Experience in software development and object-oriented design (.Net, Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with DevOps processes and practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as code)
  • Data science skills and experience, AI/ML, Statistical analysis
  • Previous experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with Data Replication technologies
