Clough in a joint venture with BMD, are working with the Northern Territory Government to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the development of the Darwin Ship Lift facility.

We are seeking an experienced 
Construction Superintendent
 to work within our Engineering team for this project Working on a roster of 15 days on, 6 days off, we ideally are seeking someone living in Darwin.

Experience required:

• Previous experience in Buildings, Earthworks, Cofferdams, Revetments, Structures, Marine or Electrical
• 5 + years construction experience, with significant supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
• Critical thinking and problem-solving working skills with experience working on site in a fast-paced construction environment

Your focus will include:

• Coordinating site construction activities within assigned areas
• Scheduling and coordinating work to be performed and monitoring progress
• Interpreting plans, regulations, codes of practice, labour control and material deliveries
• Manage, lead and drive on site activities in accordance with best safety practice
• Ensuring that all applicable safety codes, requirements and standards are complied with
• Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure a safe and productive work environment
