Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia Department of Health - Queensland Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

If you're an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker who believes that care should be personal, purposeful and community-driven this is your opportunity. Based in Kingaroy, you'll join a multidisciplinary team that puts people first, delivering mental health support that's grounded in compassion, integrity and dignity. Here, your clinical expertise will be matched by your ability to connect, advocate and innovate. Whether you're already part of a rural community or looking to trade traffic for open skies, this role offers the chance to make a real impact while living somewhere that values balance and belonging.

What your day will look like….

Your work will centre on people, listening deeply, responding with empathy, and tailoring care to the individual. You'll assess and support adults with complex mental health needs, collaborate with families and carers, and provide outreach to local services and agencies. You'll be trusted to make clinical decisions, contribute to service improvements, and mentor others with integrity and respect. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and embrace new ways of working. Every interaction is an opportunity to show courage, foster dignity, and deliver care that truly matters. In Kingaroy, your day isn't just about tasks, it's about relationships, growth, and being part of something bigger.

Let's talk about you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can inspire the following:

  • Compassion – you will engage with others and demonstrate empathy, care, kindness, support and understanding.
  • Integrity – you are open, honest, approachable, equitable and consistent in everything we do.
  • Dignity – you treat others with respect, display reasonableness and take pride in what you do.
  • Innovation – you embrace change and strive to know more, learn more and do better.
  • Courage – you respectfully question for clarity and have the strength and confidence to Speak Up.
