About Us
We are a dedicated multi-disciplinary team working directly with neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults. Our services include:
- Therapies and consultations tailored to individual needs, delivered by occupational therapists, psychologists, and specialist educators.
- Group programs that build social, life, and work-ready skills.
- Parent and caregiver support, including coaching, training, and dual parent/child programs.
- Workshops and community education for schools, families, and professionals to strengthen understanding and capacity.
We welcome clients with and without a formal diagnosis, though our primary focus is supporting young people with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning differences, social anxiety, and related conditions. We take a tailored approach to ensure each family receives the right-fit service. Our thorough intake process helps us match individuals to the support that best meets their needs, while allowing our team to work within their professional scope and provide genuinely rewarding support.
We identify as a neuroaffirming practice. This means our approach respects, values, and supports the unique neurological differences of each participant. We emphasise acceptance and celebration of neurodiversity as a natural and valuable part of human diversity, and we don't aim to "fix" or "cure." Rather, as our mission states: We aim to help neurodivergent youth make connections with like-minded peers and build skills so they can interact within their world with greater comfort, connectedness, and confidence… and have a whole lot of fun along the way
Our Values:
We believe our clients and families deserve the best. We value:
• Passion for positively impacting the lives of neurodivergent youth and their caregivers.
• Respect for each participant's uniqueness.
• Commitment to creating a safe space for our participants to be themselves.
• Excellence in all that we do.
• Warmth through genuine care and enjoyment of the young people in our care.
• Community by connecting neurodivergent youth and their caregivers to foster lasting relationships.
What We're Looking For
An Occupational Therapist who's:
- Hungry – always looking to grow, innovate, and find better ways to support our clients and families.
- Humble – grounded, collaborative, and willing to learn from one another (and from the young people we support).
- Smart – not just in knowledge and skills, but in emotional intelligence: someone who listens, connects, and celebrates the small wins that make the biggest difference.
Alongside this, we're looking for:
- Experience: No less than two years of experience in the field of occupational therapy.
- Great People Skills: Ability to connect with clients, families, and our team.
- Professionalism: Commitment to ethical guidelines and client-centred care, with a solid understanding of evidence-informed interventions (ADL training, motor skills training, sensory integration therapy, environmental modifications, social-emotional skills training, and community integration assistance).
- Assessment and Reporting: Proficiency in conducting assessments and producing clear, purposeful reports that inform treatment planning and support families, schools, and other stakeholders.
- Outcomes Driven: Skill in setting achievable goals and creating treatment plans, with progress monitoring and evaluation to ensure 'right fit' supports.
- Preparation and Organisation: Recognition of how preparation and organisation underpin high-quality, outcome-driven services.
- Documentation: Ability to maintain clear, accurate, and relevant records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluations.
- Neuroaffirming Practice: A commitment to approaches that respect and celebrate neurodiversity.
- Learning and Innovation: Enthusiastic about professional growth, with the creativity and energy to explore new approaches and the commitment to see ideas through to completion.
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is required for this position.
