As an Occupational Therapist – Advanced (Rural Hand Therapy), you'll deliver specialised care, support and mentor rural clinicians, and drive service innovation—bringing life-changing outcomes to patients and communities across the region.

What your day will look like….

You'll provide advanced assessment, treatment, and consultative services for clients with complex hand therapy needs, working closely with both patients and multidisciplinary teams. Alongside direct clinical care, you'll act as a trusted leader and mentor, supporting rural generalist occupational therapists in managing their hand therapy caseloads. Your day will also include driving service improvements, contributing to clinical governance, and leading education and training to build capability across the workforce. Every interaction—whether with a patient regaining independence or a colleague building new skills—will be an opportunity to create meaningful impact and shape the future of hand therapy in our region.
