With over 1,000 visitors a day, Tea Tree Gully Library is one of the busiest and most vibrant libraries in South Australia. We're on the lookout for an inspiring Library Customer Experience (CX) Coordinator to lead the charge in delivering engaging, inclusive, and high-quality library services to our community. You'll be at the forefront of shaping how our library feels, operates, and connects with the people and communities we serve.

Reporting to the Team Leader Library Customer Experience, you'll manage a talented team, elevate service delivery, drive innovation, and ensure every visitor walks away with a memorable experience. From coaching staff to solving challenges and improving operations, your role is all about impact, creativity, and community connection.

What You'll Do

  • Use data and insights to shape smarter services and enhance customer satisfaction

  • Lead a passionate team to deliver welcoming, efficient, and customer-first library experiences

  • Embed our Customer Experience Framework and raise the bar on service excellence

  • Oversee the day-to-day use of our Civic Centre library facilities

  • Tackle complex customer issues with professionalism and empathy

  • Train, coach, and grow staff, volunteers, and contractors

  • Contribute to vibrant marketing and promotional efforts to boost library use and membership

  • Streamline processes and champion continuous improvement across services

  • Deliver on strategic goals through planning, innovation, and collaboration

  • Strong leadership experience in libraries, customer service, or community-facing roles.

  • A knack for using data and insights to make decisions that drive meaningful improvements.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm and confident when resolving issues.

  • A collaborative spirit and a natural ability to bring out the best in others.

  • Experience managing facilities and operations (desirable, but not essential).

  • A customer-first mindset and a genuine passion for community connection.

  • The ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and communicate clearly.

  • A team-focused attitude with the flexibility to jump into different tasks and support wherever needed.
