The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on and varied role that will see you managing day-to-day financial operations and supporting broader finance functions. You will be an integral part of a close-knit team, contributing to the financial integrity and efficiency of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records through timely data entry and transaction processing
  • Manage the accounts inbox, ensuring timely distribution and follow-up of incoming communications
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice and payment management
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare payment runs, ABA files, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support tax and compliance reporting such as BAS, payroll tax, FBT, R&D, and income tax
  • Maintain financial records both electronically and physically in line with audit requirements
  • Liaise with staff to ensure timely collection of receipts and documentation
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers and managing related processes
  • Utilise the ERP system (Classic) and Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks and reporting
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role
  • Tertiary qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and general accounting principles
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
