About the Role

Reporting directly to the Bookkeeping Manager, you will be responsible for managing various bookkeeping tasks for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time role based at our West Perth office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable:
    Invoicing, receipting, statements/payment reminders and debt collection.
  • Accounts Payable:
     Bill entry, statement reconciliation, payment scheduling, and creating payment files.
  • Payroll:
     Payroll processing, Single Touch Payroll reporting and superannuation payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    Allocating transactions and monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card and loan accounts.
  • Compliance:
     Preparation of monthly and quarterly instalment and business activity statements and taxable payments annual reports.
  • Advisory:
     Providing bookkeeping advice to clients and liaising with accountants.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will meet the following criteria:

Essential

  • At least 1 year of proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience using cloud accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and efficiency in your work.
  • Flexibility to work both in the office and onsite at clients' premises.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Legal right to work in Australia.

Desirable

  • Proficiency in Xero and MYOB.
  • Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping qualification (or currently working towards it).

While these qualifications are highly regarded, we are open to training the right candidate.
