headspace Penrith is part of Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention services to young people aged 12–25. Our multidisciplinary team offers support across mental health, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and vocational services.

About the Role

As a Senior Clinician, you'll be a key member of the multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-focused, evidence-based mental health support to young people. You will:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, psychological and psychosocial interventions
  • Manage clinical care and complex presentations
  • Lead and guide other clinicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Support referral pathways and service flow
  • Ensure adherence to best practice and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to uphold the clinical model of care

What You'll Need, Essential Criteria

Qualifications:

  • Approved tertiary qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent
  • Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in mental health
  • Proven experience in assessments, evidence-based treatment, and case management
  • Leadership capabilities – mentoring and clinical guidance
  • Strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice and youth mental health
  • Ability to contribute to clinical review and planning processes
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
