Description

The ROLE

Due to a recently awarded project in Rockhampton, we have an opportunity for a local-based Final Trim GPS Excavator Operator to join our QLD Plant team. Employment will be full-time, fixed term for an initial period of 6mths, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future. This will ideally suit someone who lives local to the Rockhampton region.

About YOU 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and responsibilities:

  • Applicable competencies and plant licenses, including RII tickets
  • Current driver's license
  • Demonstrated experience operating plant equipment to a final trim level
  • GPS experience
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
  • Ability to work independently, unsupervised as well as part of a team
  • A commitment to maintaining work health and safety practices

Please note that you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol screening.
