Where you'll be working:

This Clinical Nurse Educator role is based within the Hunter Valley Community Health service, which spans a diverse geographical area from Kurri Kurri to Scone. The location of the position is negotiable and may include Muswellbrook, Scone, Singleton, or Kurri Kurri.

About the role:

As the Clinical Nurse Educator for Community Health, you will coordinate, deliver and evaluate clinical education and supervision across multiple locations. Your responsibilities will include providing both one-on-one and group-based support to clinical staff, ensuring they maintain evidence-based competencies aligned with relevant standards and policies.

With your strong educational foundation and practical experience, you will promote professional development and clinical excellence across a wide-ranging community health service. Your week will be varied, dynamic, and focused on building capacity in nursing and allied health teams to meet the evolving needs of community clients.

About you:

You are an experienced and confident educator with strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills. You are passionate about professional development and enjoy mentoring others to achieve clinical excellence. You thrive in a multidisciplinary setting and are committed to innovation and quality improvement.

Your ability to build rapport and lead education initiatives across multiple sites will be essential in this role.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications or equivalent clinical experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
  • Demonstrated clinical teaching or education experience
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel between sites
