Aviva Dental is a busy and expanding modern practice situated in beautiful Newtown surrounded by a variety of cafes and boutique shops. We are family dental practice that is patient-focused and provide exceptional care to anyone who walks through our doors. We are looking for an experienced all rounder dental assistant to join our practice. The candidate will need to be a friendly and motivated, team player as we know this leads to great camaraderie between our staff members and excellent job satisfaction.

The role requires a competency at chairside dental assisting and dental reception experience will be well regarded. We are offering a part-time position for 2 days per week

  • Excellent presentation and positive demeanor
  • Good organisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Motivated and willing to adapt and learn
  • Empathetic and caring
  • Able to use or be familiar with  Dental 4 Windows
  • Preference would be given to candidates with Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting.
  • Immediate start

Prior experience will highly regarded, hourly rate is negotiable ($28-$35/hour) depending on experience and suitability.

This position is available due to staff on maternity leave with opportunity for a permanent long-term position.
