About the role

Our lovely team at Beerwah Dental are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist and a talented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Beerwah, QLD. As a regluar position, this role will involve providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and assisting our dentists with clinical procedures.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming patients, both in person and over the phone, in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
  3. Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns
  4. Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic databases
  5. Assisting dentists with clinical procedures, including sterilising equipment, preparing treatment rooms, and providing chairside support
  6. Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  7. Promoting the practice and its services to existing and potential patients

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental assistant, preferably in a similar healthcare setting
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  3. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  4. Proficient in using dental software and technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  5. A caring, compassionate, and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in supporting patients' oral health
  6. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the practice
