About the role
Our lovely team at Beerwah Dental are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist and a talented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Beerwah, QLD. As a regluar position, this role will involve providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and assisting our dentists with clinical procedures.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients, both in person and over the phone, in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic databases
- Assisting dentists with clinical procedures, including sterilising equipment, preparing treatment rooms, and providing chairside support
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Promoting the practice and its services to existing and potential patients
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental assistant, preferably in a similar healthcare setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in using dental software and technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- A caring, compassionate, and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in supporting patients' oral health
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the practice
