Munster is a well-established organisation providing engineering, construction & maintenance services to a number of industries including industrial plants, water & wastewater treatment plants and pumpstations.

Due to our steady growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work in Brisbane and all of its surrounding suburbs we are looking for our next supervisor or an ambitious leading hand.

This role requires strong technical expertise in structural, mechanical and piping disciplines, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

We Require:

  • Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Supervise and evaluate workmanship and quality.
  • Allocate daily tasks to all direct reports, and managing productivity, efficiency, attitude and general work standards, whilst adhering to HSSEQ policies and meeting project deadlines.
  • Enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained and supported and that HSE standards are met.
  • Ensure that the project is kept on schedule and within budget
  • Oversee the SMP construction, ensuring that it is in compliance with Client standards.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team to identify and resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions if they occur.
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries and inspections.
  • Conduct prestart meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement preventive measures to avoid their recurrence.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • To be physically fit.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years Supervisory experience
  • Strong Mechanical background is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
  • Ability to work with computers i.e. Laptops, ipads
  • Good reading, numeracy, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a safe manner.
