About The Company

A major global contributor to the field of Personalized Healthcare, operating at the critical intersection of biological discovery and clinical application.

About the Role:

A Field Service Engineer/Technician responsible for executing and coordinating all technical service activities across four distinct business units: Professional Diagnostics, Molecular Diagnostics, Tissue Diagnostics, and Sequencing. This is a Monday to Friday role with a rotational on-call roster.

Your duties will include:

  • Performing troubleshooting, installation, and preventative maintenance on diagnostic instruments.
  • To ensure any ongoing instrument problems or issues are communicated to Regional Service Supervisor, National Service Manager, Account Manager, Marketing Team and or manufacturer.
  • Executing necessary software and hardware modifications.
  • Handling technical requirements for both pre-sales and post-sales needs.
  • Service delivery necessitates regional & interstate travel as required.
  • Spare Part Management and Boot Stock Accuracy

The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Electrical/Electronic tertiary or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with IT and Middleware systems is desirable
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
