The Engineering Lead for ANZ is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing hard services across the Australia and New Zealand client portfolio, providing comprehensive oversight of owned and leased premises while potentially supporting global operations.

An overview of the role:

  • Lead strategic Integrated Facilities Management initiatives while ensuring compliance with JLL and client safety procedures and reporting requirements
  • Foster proactive maintenance culture through regular building inspections and infrastructure assessments to identify preventative repair needs
  • Ensure all managed sites comply with state and local building codes, site-specific SOPs, and operational guidelines
  • Manage comprehensive oversight of Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Building systems maintenance and capital improvements
  • Evaluate and optimize preventive maintenance scheduling with Reliability Engineers to improve CMMS system operational efficiency
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities within maintenance programs while maintaining 100% system uptime and reliability standards
  • Monitor work order metrics, review SLA gaps, and drive process improvements to maximize operational resources and results
  • Develop strong client relationships through effective communication, budget preparation assistance, contract negotiation support, and vendor evaluation
  • Ensure adherence to escalation, life-safety, and emergency procedures with proper client notifications and quality service delivery
  • Provide technical advisory support, maintain tool inventory, verify delivery accuracy, and comply with hazardous material handling policies
