The Role

This role is about detailing and documentation—not designing from scratch. You'll take architectural intent and translate it into accurate, efficient drawings for manufacture and installation. It's a hands-on role where you'll problem-solve constructability challenges and ensure projects are delivered smoothly.

Whether you're freshly out of TAFE or early in your career, we'll provide the training and mentoring you need to succeed in specialist areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft shop drawings and fabrication details for architectural facades, balustrades and custom metalwork
  • Interpret architectural designs and adapt them for manufacture and installation
  • Maintain document control and adhere to standards
  • Identify and resolve constructability challenges to improve efficiency and quality

Skills & Attributes

We hire for character and cultural fit first, and train where needed. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of construction details and design principles
  • Interest in fabrication and manufacturing processes
  • Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills
