We are looking for a Nurse (enrolled or registered) or Orthoptist to join our busy, friendly Ophthalmic practice located in Bowral NSW (approximately 1hr from Sydney).

This position would initially be casual approximately 2-3 days per week with the possibility of becoming full-time in the future.

  • Duties would include screening patients, performing visual testing, assisting with minor procedures and Intravitreal injections.
  • The ability to work as a team member to ensure the best possible care for our patients is essential.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills is required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is essential.
  • Flexibility and availability for some early starts and late finishes Monday to Friday (no shift work or weekends).
  • Experience with medical software programmes such as Genie is desirable.
  • Experience working in Ophthalmology or at a specialist medical practice is desirable.
  • Training is available for the right applicant.
