**About The Role**

The Casual Medical Receptionist/Administrator role on offer is 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility for more hours. More detail will be provided at the interview.

You will work collaboratively with your team colleagues and the Practice Manager to provide reception and administrative support to doctors, nurses, and most importantly the patients. Your day will include a variety of tasks including:

- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures including payments
- Schedule patient appointments
- End of Day duties including banking reconciliation
- Liaise with third parties such as Work Cover Insurance and Lawyers
- Other administrative duties as requested by the Practice Manager

**About You**

As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone of the patient experience. Your warm greeting, welcoming smile and efficient, attentive service will reassure our patients they are in the best of hands.

To be considered for the role you must have:

- Proven reception or administrative experience (medical reception and knowledge of Medicare billing highly regarded)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks effectively
- Attention to detail
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- A positive and sensible approach with a genuine desire to assist
- Willingness to be positive and collaborative
- Demonstrated computer literacy is essential and knowledge of Best Practice and the Google suite of tools will be highly regarded
