As a registered NDIS provider, Edge Employment Solutions NDIS plays a vital role in empowering people with disability to reach their full potential by providing customised employment support. Our services aim to help individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to participate in the workforce, pursue their goals, and live independently.
About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated NDIS Employment Support Coach to join our team at Edge. In this role, you will deliver NDIS-funded employment services, including School Leaver Employment Supports and Finding and Keeping a Job.
Your primary focus will be to support and mentor NDIS participants, helping them overcome barriers and develop the skills necessary to transition into further education or employment through the creation of personalised plan.
As an NDIS Employment Support Coach, you won't be office-bound. You will engage directly with participants in the community, using a person-centred approach to collaborate with key stakeholders and ensure services are delivered effectively. You will work within the NDIS Commission's Quality Standards Framework, ensuring that all services are safe, ethical, and compliant, while maintaining the high standards that have established Edge as a trusted and respected organisation in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Support NDIS participants to navigate barriers to employment and education.Support NDIS participant to navigate the world of employment and education.Assist participants to write resumes, cover letter and practise interview techniques. Build relationships with employers to help carve job opportunities for employment.Develop and implement individualised plans that empower participants to achieve their goals.Collaborate with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to provide effective, tailored support.Ensure all services are delivered in line with NDIS quality and safety standards.Foster a positive, inclusive, and ethical environment for all participants.About You:
You're passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities, building their confidence, and helping them develop the skills needed to reach their full potential.You have experience working with NDIS participants or within the disability services sector.You bring experience in DES (Disability Employment Services) or recruitment.You have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with participants and stakeholders.You are committed to delivering high-quality, ethical services that align with NDIS standards.This is a part-time position based in the community South of the River, with travel required within a 25 km radius of Cockburn. - NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Western Australian C class driving license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
