Who we are

Vanketo is a small Aussie team in Mullumbimby making premium van life gear. We design, cut, sew and pack in our factory. Our Stealthy Shades and Midge Pro screens are on thousands of vans across Australia. We care about local manufacturing, smart design and looking after customers who drop in or call. Sustainability matters to us, we use recycled materials made from plastic bottles and reclaimed fishing nets, and we keep packaging low waste.

What you will do


• Plan and coordinate logistics for fabric, magnets and packaging


• Cut materials and operate the automatic sewing machine


• Be first point of contact for walk-ins and phone calls


• Show products, answer questions and resolve simple issues


• Run storage and inventory so materials and finished goods are stocked correctly


• Set up systems for packing, distribution and dispatch


• Coordinate warehouse staff and machinist to hit daily targets


• Oversee raw fabric orders, delivery schedules and production output


• Manage packaging materials and couriers Australia Post


• Pack orders with accuracy, print labels and organise dispatch


• Meet production KPIs and keep the floor safe and tidy

What you bring


• Experience in a start-up or small business; comfy in a fast-paced environment


• Experience leading production or warehouse operations


• Strong customer service skills and clear communication


• Planning and inventory know how, confident with suppliers and freight


• Calm under pressure and happy to roll up your sleeves

Nice to have but not essential


• You live or love the vanlife


• CAD experience


• Basics in Shopify, Starshipit or AusPost eParcel
