Our client based in the Sydney CBD are looking for a ICT Project manager to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale ICT programs and projects. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and manage project business cases and management plans for ICT programs and projects.
  • Plan and oversee implementation of complex ICT projects, ensuring adherence to approved methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and quality assurance activities, capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting against KPIs, highlighting progress, risks, and issues requiring escalation.
  • Identify and manage emerging risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure projects remain within budget and schedule.
  • Foster strong stakeholder engagement and communication, building effective partnerships internally and externally.
  • Lead and guide project teams in refining processes, methodologies, and delivery practices.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Extensive experience as an ICT Project Manager in a large, complex IT environment.
  • 5–10 years of experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Proven ability to apply structured project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile frameworks).
  • Exposure to cloud transformation, data platform modernisation, or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar PM tools.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture, integration, or data management principles.
