We are working with a leading financial services organisation on a major Oracle decommissioning project within their Listed Derivatives technology environment. This is a business-critical piece of work, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong financial services expertise and hands-on knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a complex Oracle decommissioning project, managing timelines, budgets, and delivery outcomes.
  • Coordinate across database, infrastructure, application, and business teams to ensure seamless migration and system integration.
  • Oversee the migration of data and services into Sybase and AWS environments, ensuring minimal disruption to trading and risk systems.
  • Manage project governance, risk, compliance, and reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders across technology, operations, and senior leadership to ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within financial services / capital markets, ideally Listed Derivatives.
  • Strong background in Oracle and Sybase ASE within large-scale environments.
  • Experience with AWS cloud migration projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Solid track record of delivering database decommissioning, migration or transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory, risk, and audit requirements in financial services.
