, they are now seeking an experienced
Construction Manager
to oversee a
portfolio of major projects valued at up to $2 billion
, including significant
Build-to-Rent (BTR)
and
high-rise residential
developments.

This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the
Construction Director
, offering full responsibility for project delivery across multiple high-value developments, from planning through to handover.

About the Role

As
Construction Manager
, you will be responsible for the successful execution of multiple large-scale construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

You'll provide leadership to a team of Project and Site Managers across several complex builds, manage external delivery partners, and drive performance across the construction function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction delivery of a portfolio of projects across Sydney, ranging from $100M to $2B in total value.
• Oversee all planning, programming, and delivery activities across multiple project teams.
• Lead and mentor Senior Project Managers, Site Managers, and support staff to ensure alignment with business and project objectives.
• Monitor construction programs, budgets, forecasts, and procurement schedules.
• Ensure the timely availability and effective utilisation of plant, equipment, and specialist subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks across delivery phases.
• Drive best practice in safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all sites.
• Report regularly to the Construction Director on progress, performance, and risks.
• Establish collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders including Development, Design, and Commercial teams.
• Liaise with key external stakeholders including consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure scopes of work, drawings, and documentation are clearly understood and implemented on site.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and team development for the construction function.

Experience & Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years' experience
  in the construction industry, with at least
  5 years as a Construction Manager
  or equivalent senior role.
• Proven track record delivering
  high-rise residential, mixed-use, or BTR developments
  valued at
  $100M+
  .
• Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ideally within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
• Deep technical understanding of structural systems, sequencing, and buildability for high-rise projects.
• Sound knowledge of
  BCA, construction regulations
  , and high-rise safety standards.
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen, including cost and program management.
• Tertiary qualifications in
  Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
  .
• High-level communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in relevant construction management software such as
  Jobpac, Aconex, MS Project
  , and the MS Office suite.
• A strong safety mindset and commitment to creating and maintaining safe sites.
