Fortify Health Group, a health and disability organisation supporting adults and children within Southeast Queensland. We believe in the power of a multidisciplinary approach, and our team of professionals includes nurses, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, a psychiatrist, occupational therapists and physiotherapist.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Officer to join our team. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in our offices located in Springwood and Mount Gravatt. You will work closely with the Operational Director and a Recruitment Officer to manage all HR functions. This is a highly operational role focused on delivering practical HR solutions and supporting managers across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage end-to-end HR administration using Employment Hero and MYP systems.


• Prepare employment contracts, onboarding documentation, and induction programs.


• Support managers with performance reviews and develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).


• Coordinate staff engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs.


• Work with Clinical Nurse Educators to deliver training programs and ensure compliance with online training modules.


• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and WHS requirements.


• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and provide advice on employee relations

What We're Looking For


• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a generalist HR role.


• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.


• Excellent organisational and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.


• Experience with Employment Hero and MYP systems (desirable).
