We are looking for workers who has the following experience in Conveyor system and Tunnelling.

Conveyor Site Supervisor

Position Overview:

Responsible for overseeing conveyor installation, maintenance, and repair activities on-site. Ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise conveyor system installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Coordinate tasks among fitters, technicians, and contractors.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety checks.
  • Plan daily work schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Inspect conveyors and identify mechanical or operational issues.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to report progress.
  • Prepare job reports, documentation, and maintenance records.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter/Engineering or similar).
  • Experience in conveyor installation and maintenance.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of WHS regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Fitters/Boilermaker

Position Overview:

Responsible for installing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining conveyor systems and associated mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, align, and maintain conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs.
  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Follow site safety protocols and complete job documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in conveyor systems or heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of bearings, pulleys, drives, gearboxes, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety standards.
Conveyor Foreman

Position Overview:

Leads a team of fitters, labourers, and technicians in conveyor installation and maintenance projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise crews during conveyor installation and servicing.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
  • Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Conduct safety inspections, pre-starts, and permit checks.
  • Work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers.
  • Resolve on-site issues and coordinate resources and equipment.
Worker also must have the following Certificate, License and Tickets

  • EWP Ticket over 11 meters

  • Forklift License preferred

  • High Risk Work License

  • White Card

  • Trade Certificate (Mechanical)

  • Boilermaker/Fitter/Machinist
