We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Fitter/Boilermaker to join our busy resource recovery plant. This role suits an all-rounder who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and getting stuck in when things get muddy.

About the Role

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment (pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and conveyors).
  • Welding and fabrication repairs as required.
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and keep the plant running safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with upgrades, installs, and general workshop/yard duties.
  • Weekend work and overtime available (and sometimes required).

What We're Looking For

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker, Fitter & Turner, Diesel/Plant Mechanic, or similar background.
  • Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/Stick essential).
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive "fix it" mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a muddy, dirty, hands-on environment.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work extra hours when needed.
