Caboolture South, Queensland, Australia Torrens Road community childcare centre Full time $48,000 - $60,000 per year

We have a wonderful opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join the team at Torrens Road Community Childcare Centre. This is a part-time position 3-4 days with the potential for days increased to 4-5 days as occupancy continues to grow.

Torrens Road Community Childcare Centre is a well-established, not-for-profit community long daycare service We are the longest operational service in Caboolture and we hold a strong reputation within the Caboolture and surrounds community for providing high-quality early childhood education that supports positive outcomes for every child.

Essential Qualifications:

*Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent

*Child Protection Certificate - CHCPRT025 - Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or other ECEC approved equivalent)

*Current Blue Card (or Exemption Card)

*Current First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management

*Experience in a community kindergarten is valued but not essential – new graduates are welcome to apply

*A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), and National Quality Framework (NQF)

*A collaborative approach, with a commitment to ongoing reflection and professional growth.

*Demonstrated understanding of child safe practices, fostering a warm, safe and stimulating environment where children feel confident and secure.

*The ability to build respectful partnerships with families, children, and colleagues to support each child's wellbeing, learning, development and engagement in the program.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
