We're seeking a passionate Design Manager who thrives on detail, collaboration, and seeing exceptional design come to life. If you take pride in creating homes and communities that feel considered, timeless, and well built — this role will speak to you.

About the Role As Design Manager, you'll lead the design process from post-concept through to for-construction issue. You'll coordinate consultants, balance creativity with constructability, and ensure every design outcome aligns with the project vision, budget, and delivery program.

Working closely with the development and construction teams, you'll have a genuine voice in shaping the built form, materials, and details that define each project.

Your key focus will include:

  • Leading and coordinating the design journey from start to finish
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and documentation for quality and compliance
  • Managing design programs, milestones, and consultant performance
  • Driving cost and value management to align with budgets without compromising design integrity
  • Embedding lessons learned and championing continuous improvement
  • Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery

About You You're a thoughtful, hands-on design professional who combines technical expertise with a creative mindset. You're collaborative by nature, meticulous in detail, and always looking for ways to elevate design quality and buildability.

You'll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Project Management or Design Management
  • Proven experience managing the design phase of quality built-form
  • Strong knowledge of construction and land subdivision processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project (Revit experience desirable)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine love for great design
