- Base Salary Range: $71,217 - $106,330 p.a
- In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Service:
Allied and Community Health Service
Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:
Join our team as an Occupational Therapist (AHP1) and be at the heart of delivering top-notch, community-focused health services under the mentorship of a Senior Occupational Therapist. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with a diverse, multi-professional team, including experts from various sectors, to provide a comprehensive range of preventative, early intervention, and therapeutic services. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow professionally in a supportive and integrated environment.
As a Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist (AHP2), you'll leverage your clinical expertise and specialized knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the needs of the local community. Working with increased autonomy, you'll also have the opportunity to provide clinical supervision to less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse multi-professional team and employ a blend of preventative, early intervention, and therapeutic approaches to deliver integrated, high-impact care.

About You:
- Must hold a recognised qualification within Occupational Therapy Australia and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
AHP1:
- Provide a broad range of clinical services, selecting, adopting and applying methods, procedures and standards which are generally well established and straight forward.
- Exercise professional judgment within prescribed areas, with support from a Clinical Senior to verify methods and results.
- Provide straightforward clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities.
- Manage and prioritise personal workload.
AHP2:
- Apply professional expertise, developing generalist/specialist knowledge, clinical competence and experience to provide professional services to client groups in circumstances requiring increasingly complex practice skills.
- Exercise professional judgment in the selection and adaptation of established methods, procedures, and techniques within the profession.
- May provide a broad range of clinical and consultative services across a range of service settings, including one-on-one, group based and health promotion activities.
- Manage and prioritise personal workload and support others in developing workload management plans, including in the allocation of team resources.
