An exciting opportunity for a driven Compliance Manager to join a growing financial services business. This role plays a key part in ensuring the organisation operates within its regulatory obligations and maintains a strong compliance culture across all business areas.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and maintain the organisation's compliance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Provide compliance advice and support to business units, ensuring products, processes, and activities meet legislative and internal requirements.
  • Monitor, identify, and assess compliance risks across the business, recommending improvements where required.
  • Lead regulatory reporting and liaise with key regulators and industry bodies as required.
  • Conduct and coordinate compliance monitoring, reviews, and training to promote awareness and accountability.
  • Support incident management, breach reporting, and remediation activities.
  • Partner with Risk and Legal teams to strengthen governance and enhance business decision-making.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in compliance, regulatory, or risk management roles within financial services (e.g. banking, superannuation, insurance, wealth, or fintech).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards (e.g. ASIC, APRA, AML/CTF, Privacy, RG 271, DDO).
  • Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and provide pragmatic compliance advice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
