Architectural Draftsperson

We have vibrant, creative team of lighting designers from various backgrounds who have built a reputation for providing unique architectural lighting design services with innovation, ability and effectiveness. We are looking for a talented and experienced Architectural Draftsperson or Lighting Designer to join our team.

**THE ROLE**
- High level of ability to effectively manage workloads and timelines of projects.
- Documentation/ designs at all project stages under the supervision of Senior Designer.
- Preparation of concept presentations in Indesign/Photoshop.
- Undertaking lighting calculations in Dialux/Agi32 and lighting reports to demonstrate compliance with Australian Standards.
- Preparation of AutoCAD and REVIT drawings and lighting specifications.
- Issuing documentation in Aconex, Procore and similar platforms.
- Checking documentation prior to issuing.
- Full-Time position available.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Minimum 3 year experience in a similar role,
- Ability to thrive in a creative fast changing design-led work environment.
- Strong eye for detailing and implementation of ideas.
- Efficient, autonomous and ability to manage time and tasks effectively and within deadlines.
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD - essential.
- Proficiency in InDesign
- essential.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite - essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Suite - essential.
- Proficiency in Dialux/Agi32 - essential.
- Experience with REVIT and SketchUp - desired.
- Understanding of technical lighting terms.
- Ability to design architectural and joinery lighting details.
- Ability to communicate effectively and actively participate in projects with minimum supervision.
- Ability to simultaneously work on numerous of projects and tasks.

**ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS**
- Design background qualification in Architecture, Design, Industrial design or similar.
- Demonstration of project and time management.

**SALARY**

Dependent on experience
