Warranty Process Improvement Coach

The Role
Bring your coaching and training skills to the fore.
This position requires an articulate, relatable and focused automotive professional who can leverage extensive knowledge and experience in both warranty and aftersales operations to enhance and improve dealership warranty operations, ensuring compliance with OEM policies, directly working to improve audit outcomes and broader internal dealership processes.
This position requires regular travel to meet and support the clients' operational needs; candidates must be comfortable with a flexible travel schedule.
Key Objectives of the Role:
- Problem-Solving – strong analytical skills to work through issues identified during an audit and develop effective solutions
- Process assessment – ability to evaluate operations flows and step by step tasks to identify process improvement requirements to increase efficiency and compliance within a risk management framework
- Policy Guidance – collaborate with dealership management to develop and refine internal warranty policies and procedures, adapting to OEM requirements along with industry changes, best practice and customer expectations
- Support & training – assist dealership staff in understanding warranty policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent, accurate and compliant claims process
- Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and engage dealer staff and management
- Mentoring – supporting and empowering the dealership staff through a change process phase, when this is required for warranty process compliance improvement
Key Experience:
- Dealership warranty administration experience mandatory, dealership warranty department management preferred
- Dealership workshop experience (Technician / Foreman / Controller) mandatory
- Manufacturer warranty administration / management preferred
- Coaching experience mandatory, recognised training qualifications would be well received
- Dealership Service Desk (Service Advisor / Manager) experience preferred
