Warehouse Supervisor – Hands-On | Small Team | Growth Opportunity

About the Role:

We are a small, well-established food wholesaler supplying dry and frozen products to restaurants, takeaway outlets, independent supermarkets, and wholesalers.

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This role is best suited to hands-on warehouse staff or senior store person ready to step into a supervisory position and grow their career in a supportive environment, rather than senior warehouse managers from large-scale operations.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse while supervising and supporting a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and support a small warehouse team

· Assist the Branch Manager with daily warehouse operations

· Hands-on picking, packing, receiving, and dispatch

· Coordinate with sales and administration to ensure accurate and timely deliveries

· Assist with training and onboarding of staff

· Maintain WHS, HACCP, and food safety standards

About You:

· Previous warehouse experience with some leadership or team-leading exposure

· Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required

· Leadership experience through informal mentoring, team leader role, or supervisor role is acceptable

· Leadership experience may include informal mentoring, team leader role, or formal supervisor role

· Current Forklift Licence

· LF (counterbalance) forklift licence required

· Knowledge of HACCP and food-handling requirements

· Basic awareness of HACCP principles and food safety standards required

· Reliable, organised, and hands-on

· Positive attitude with a desire to grow into a long-term supervisory role

· Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
