About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Wollongong. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles, working in a supportive team, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Performing general mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out accurate, efficient repairs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised workshop environment
  • Delivering great customer service and clear communication
  • Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards

About You

To be considered, you'll have:

  • A trade qualification as an automotive mechanic (light vehicle)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A good understanding of workshop operations and workflow
  • High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Your own tools relevant to the trade
  • Knowledge of work health and safety requirements
  • A current Australian driver's licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Authorised AIS Examiner certification
  • Refrigerant handling licence

(Training and licensing support can be provided if needed.)
