Pastry Chef/Mixer/Cake Decorator

We are a high volume cake manufacturer. We are looking for an experienced mixer pastry chef/cake decorator/cake finisher to join our team

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Masking and decorating cakes
  • Measuring and mixing of ingredients
  • Follow production/recipe sheets
  • Finishing and packaging of products
  • Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas
  • Other occasional tasks related to your role

In order to be considered for this role you will need:

  • Excellent piping and cake masking skills
  • Be creative in your field
  • Good communication and basic math skills
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to use your initiative
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic nature
  • Friendly personality
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Multi-tasking skills essential
  • HACCP knowledge – highly regarded but not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a pastry/cake kitchen will be an added advantage
  • Fit and healthy individual - essential
  • Must be able to lift 15 kg

This is an ideal Mon-Fri day shift operation 7 am start.  Work life balance assured. Growth opportunities

Valid work visa is essential

We are located in Botany with plenty of free parking and close to public transport.
