About the role
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Office Administration All-Rounder to join our team in a new role at Brisbane & Gold Coast Fairy Lights in Arundel, QLD. This is a part-time position (initially 2 days per week 9.30am - 4.30pm) until mid-December 2025, with the potential to continue into 2026. This role will see you take on a diverse range of administrative duties to support the smooth running of our office.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service, handling phone calls, emails and the occasional walk-in, in a friendly, personable and professional manner
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including filing, data entry, managing calendars, and scheduling jobs
- Processing quotes, invoices, and expenses efficiently using Xero
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals and business documents
- Maintain and update company websites using Wix, ensuring content is current and relevant
- Assist in the creation and dissemination of marketing, including emails, newsletters, and social media content
- Support administrative functions by utilising Office Suite (Word and Excel) and managing Google Business/Maps
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong, effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word & Excel), G-Suite/Gmail, Xero, Wix and Canva
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Ability to create engaging content across all social media platforms
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities
- Be a team player with a friendly, proactive and collaborative can-do attitude
