OUR COMPANY: Sprintjett is a local and well established business in Australia. We are a leading manufacturer and retailer of high pressure water jetters, pressure cleaning equipment including parts, service and repairs.

OUR FACILITY: Our 3 new industrial units includes a retail store/workshop, fabrication area and a warehouse and we are based at Stapylton (Yatala Area) in Queensland, we are situated in a handy location just off the M1 Motorway.

Due to the continued growth and expansion of the company we moved to a larger facility in early 2025 and we are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse/Storeperson All-rounder to join our friendly team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up and organising the new premises including sorting of the parts, setting up new parts bays, organise existing and new stock in the warehouse and workshop areas
  • You will assist the warehouse/purchasing team member as well as work with other team members on a daily basis
  • General Computer skills: including invoicing, quoting, check pricing of parts, stock control, product data entry and printing labels. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Publisher, Xero or MYOB software is an advantage
  • Loading and unloading of trucks/pallets and other deliveries
  • Pick/packing orders for customers and dealers
  • Coordinating inwards and outwards goods and deliveries
  • Carry out a variety of warehouse / workplace tasks including daily and monthly equipment checks where required
  • Taking and making phone calls with suppliers, customers and team members
  • Warehouse operations and stock management including conducting regular stock counts, managing stock replenishment on a weekly basis, follow up back orders and placing new stock orders with suppliers on a regular basis
  • Maintain the warehouse presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace at all times

Skills & Experience

  • An LF Forklift licence is required for this position, good knowledge of operating a forklift (gas and electric powered) including experience with loading and unloading pallets from elevated pallet / warehouse racking and safe operation of a forklift
  • Previous warehouse experience is required
  • Be capable of physical/manual work i.e. lifting of boxes, handling of goods and walking between warehouses
  • Well organised and shows attention to detail
  • Confident & a friendly professional appearance
  • Be capable of maintaining warehouse records and internal documentation
  • Have a strong work ethic, good communication & time management skills
  • Positive team member who can work well in a team environment
  • Previous experience in stock management and customer service is highly recommended
  • General computer skills are essential
  • A flexible attitude is crucial, a person who enjoys some variety
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to work
  • Numeracy and literacy skills are required
  • Be able to work unsupervised and in a face paced environment
