Senior Development Support Officer

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong experience in a customer facing role providing high quality service to an agile team servicing the community
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and mentor staff
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the legislation and codes relevant to the industry

The Senior Development Support Officer is responsible for:

  • Providing assistance to training and staff supervision of Development Support Officers,
  • Providing assistance/support to Supervisor, Development Hub
  • Supporting the Planning, Building and Development Engineering Teams through a range of administrative and technical tasks
  • Providing high level customer service to external clients in relation to planning, building, engineering and property related matters, in consultation with technical staff.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of operational efficiencies and systems that support the suite of e-Planning solutions

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or similar
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Drivers Licence

Salary range: Grade 10 - $1, $1,402.80 per week for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
