About the role
We are looking for a Support Officer Logistics to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As an Elders Support Officer Logistics, you will provide logistics support to the Branch rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.
Responsibilities
As a Support Officer Logistics you will:
- Provide assistance to sales staff by picking, packing and coordinating deliveries of orders to rural clients.
- Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure good inwards and outwards are processed accurately according to the associated paperwork.
- Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as needed.
About you
- Basic knowledge of general merchandise products and safe storage & handling practices.
- Customer Service skills (desirable).
- A driver's license and truck licence
- A Forklift License, or the willingness to become licensed after undertaking training offered by Elders
