Home Care Assistance, West Coast Perth

Home Care Assistance is a small, locally run organisation providing personalised care to older adults across Perth. We're passionate about supporting our clients to live safely and independently in their own homes.

We're currently looking for Caring and Reliable Support Workers to join our team in a casual weekday role.

Availability:

  • You must be available for at least 4 consistent weekdays in the evenings
  • You're seeking 10–15 hours weekly, with the opportunity to increase hours as we onboard new clients.
  • Availability for some evening shifts (4:00 pm–6:30 pm) is required

About the Role:

You'll be supporting clients in Bull Creek and surrounding area. If fitting into your availability you may be able to take on additional visits with other clients during the day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social support and companionship
  • Personal care
  • Light domestic assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication prompts and support
  • Transport to appointments and shopping

Requirements – You Must Have:

  • Current First Aid and Manual Handling certificates (within the last 12 months)
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
  • Your own reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • A full, valid driver's licence

Preferred but Not Essential:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Completed Medication Support – HLTPS006
  • Prior experience in home or aged care – we offer training and ongoing support to the right candidates
