The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bottleshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Thirsty Camel bottleshop. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the bottleshop.
  • Lead, train, and roster staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and RSA requirements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.
  • Implement merchandising and promotional displays.
  • Manage cash handling, banking, and daily reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive sales targets.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail or bottleshop management role (preferred in liquor retail).
  • Experience using H&L point-of-sale and stock management software (essential).
  • Current RSA certificate (essential).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage stock, budgets, and sales reporting.
  • High level of customer service with a hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
