The Role

We're looking for an engaging CPA/CA or BAS Agent with a strong voice and presence to host structured interview-style video podcasts. These interviews are not casual chats - they are professional learning sessions where you'll interview your peers (fellow CPAs/CAs) on technical and practical topics relevant to accounting and tax.

Each session is conducted and recorded on Zoom, lasting around 2 hours, and designed to qualify for CPD credits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure your guests.
  • Reach out and coordinate interviews via LinkedIn, email, or other tools (acting as both producer and host).
  • Get guest approvals from the LearnFormula team before recording.
  • Confirm interview questions and logistical details in advance. (From our end we develop a topic and outline based on your speaker expertise - you build the detailed questions).
  • Conduct and record engaging, professional interviews over Zoom.

Note: No editing or post-production is required.

Compensation

  • $275 AUD per finished interview hour (each interview runs ~2 hours and qualifies for 2 CPD credits).
  • Freelance, part-time, and flexible. If you bring in more qualified guests, you can host multiple interviews per week.
  • Long-term, ongoing role for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Must be a CPA/CA or a BAS Agent with solid accounting/taxation knowledge.
  • Comfortable interviewing peers and leading structured professional conversations.
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Share your weekly availability and preferred time slots.

Job Types: Freelance, Contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $275.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
