About the opportunity

You will be a key member of our small team located in our Belmont, WA office servicing all our SMSF clients across Western Australia. Embark on a dynamic journey as a SMSF accountant where a variety of challenges await in this supportive and never-quiet team. You'll handle a mix of tasks in a supportive, process-driven environment:

• Servicing our SMSF clients and team in efficient and accurate manner
• Timely throughput of SMSF funds, ensuring client satisfaction
• Assisting with reconciling investments and distributions
• Preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns
• Contributing to a collaborative team culture
• Working independently and proactively
• Proven experience as a team player
• Liaison with various stakeholders
• Assist with year-end processes
• Efficient workflow management

We want to hear from you if you have:

• High attention to detail and organisation skills
• Prior Public Practice and SMSF experience (essential)
• Strong Australian tax knowledge and compliance expertise
• A team-focused mindset with clear, professional communication
• 2+ years' experience (preferred) or the skills and motivation to match
• Excellent time management skills and a reliable and results-driven approach
• Ambition to grow and advance within a supportive, growing firm
• Experience with CLASS/ BGL software (highly regarded)
• CA/CPA underway or planning to start soon
• Formal Accounting qualification
