Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + super

We're partnering with an established insurance brokerage in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, looking for a proactive and motivated **Assistant

Account Executive** to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their insurance career to gain hands-on experience managing a diverse portfolio of general insurance clients while contributing to the success and growth of the business.

In this role, you'll:

  • Support the Account Management team in delivering exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to a broad range of clients.
  • Assist in managing and growing a varied portfolio of general insurance accounts, including liaising with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
  • Gain exposure to the full range of insurance products and risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with senior team members to help drive client satisfaction and retention.

About the Role:

  • Diverse Portfolio Management: Assist with managing a range of general insurance accounts, including small to mid-sized clients across various industries.
  • Collaborative Team Environment: Join a supportive, hands-on team of insurance professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance as you develop your career.
  • Client Service & Relationship Building: Learn how to engage with clients and build strong relationships by delivering exceptional service and strategic insurance solutions.
  • Professional Development: Take part in ongoing training, development programs, and mentoring to expand your knowledge and grow in the insurance sector.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in general insurance (ideally 1+ years), whether in an assistant role or client service capacity.
  • A Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or currently pursuing) is preferred but not essential.
  • A keen interest in learning about insurance products, risk management, and the broader industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both clients and colleagues.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
