About Our Centre

Welcome to Busy Bees at Salt Ash, a beautifully designed 120-place early learning service nestled in a natural setting. Our purpose-built centre features open-plan learning spaces, a boutique farmyard with animals, and a newly renovated outdoor playground designed to ignite children's curiosity and love of discovery.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our supportive team and help nurture the next generation of lifelong learners.

Essential Qualifications
  • Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate, including training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Ability to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones for various age groups
  • Capable of designing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in diverse environments
  • Adaptable and calm when navigating the day-to-day challenges of an early learning setting
Desirable Skills & Knowledge
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Understanding of National Quality Standards (NQS) and assessment processes
  • Cultural competence and inclusive practices
  • Proficiency in digital documentation of children's learning
  • Prior experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, or Childcare Assistant
