Role Description

This is an essential on-site role for a Support Worker located in Sydney, NSW or Nowra NSW. The Support Worker is responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals, assisting with daily living activities, fostering a safe environment, and promoting overall well-being. The role includes monitoring and reporting on the welfare of clients, implementing care plans, and ensuring all support is provided in alignment with safeguarding protocols. Daily tasks may also include technical support related to client needs such as personal care, community access and domestic assistance

You must have effective communication with team members and clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Support Work and knowledge of Safeguard practices
  • NDIS Certification
  • PRN qualified (desirable)
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
  • Aptitude for providing Technical Support related to client care
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting the well-being of clients
  • Ability to work on-site in Sydney, NSW
  • Relevant certifications and a background in human services or related fields are a plus
